Account Management
How do I access my Owner Portal account?
Visit the Owner Portal login page and enter your email and password. If you haven't registered yet, click "Register" to create an account using your owner number and tax ID.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you instructions to reset your password.
How do I update my contact information?
Log in to your Owner Portal account, navigate to "Profile Settings," and update your contact information. Changes may take 1-2 business days to process.
Payments & Revenue
When are royalty payments distributed?
Royalty payments are typically processed by the 25th of each month for the previous month's production. Direct deposits are usually received within 2-3 business days after processing.
How do I set up direct deposit?
Log in to your Owner Portal account, go to "Payment Settings," and select "Set Up Direct Deposit." You'll need your bank account and routing numbers.
What is the minimum payment amount?
The minimum payment amount for check payments is $100. Amounts below $100 will accumulate until the threshold is reached.
Tax Information
When will I receive my 1099-MISC form?
1099-MISC forms are mailed by January 31st each year. They are also available for download in your Owner Portal account under "Tax Documents."
How do I update my tax ID information?
Submit a new W-9 form with your updated tax information. Forms can be downloaded from the Owner Portal or requested from Owner Relations.
Are royalty payments subject to withholding?
Royalty payments may be subject to backup withholding if we don't have a valid tax ID on file or if required by the IRS.
Ownership & Transfers
How do I transfer my mineral rights?
Contact Owner Relations for the required transfer documents. You'll need to provide legal documentation of the transfer and new owner information.
What happens to mineral rights after death?
Mineral rights transfer according to the deceased's will or state law. Contact Owner Relations for guidance on required documentation.
Can I sell part of my mineral rights?
Yes, mineral rights can be sold in whole or in part. Contact Owner Relations for guidance on the process and required documentation.
